Remembered Friends

Harley and Munch
Harley
June 9, 1997 - April 7, 2009

This is my 12 year old German Shepherd Harley and his buddy Munch.  Harley was a terrific pet.  He was so loved by family and friends.  He was my best friend and is dearly missed. May he rest in peace.

Spot Bush at the White House

Spot "Spotty" Fetcher

March 17, 1989 - February 21, 2004

The President and Mrs. Bush and the entire Bush family are deeply saddened by the passing of Spot. A loyal and loving companion, Spot was a beloved member of the Bush family for nearly 15 years. She will be missed.

Crystal Lynn Parker

Crystal Lynn Parker

06/19/92 ~ 01/29/04

Crystal brought so much joy into our lives, and made others smile just by being there. Step-mom to many kittens during her life, she will be missed greatly by DJ, her feline brother. Car rides, camping trips, walks, picnics and swims were all favorite things, but she got the most joy in her later years when she discovered snow.

Searching for disappearing snowballs, burrowing face first to roll her entire body in the fluffy white stuff, making doggie snow angels... even watching poop roll downhill, her element was snow.

When I commented to my husband that I was afraid this would be her last winter, I didn't know how accurate that statement would prove to be. I'm glad that she had the chance to make one more snow angel...

This time, she gave it a halo.

Goodbye, Snow Dog... You leave behind so many memories of happy times, but I know I can never again look at snow without being reminded of your love of life.

Be at peace now. You will be missed!

Tiny Muncy

Our 16-year old pekingese Tiny died last Aug. 3 and until now my husband and I feel the stabbing pain of her loss. Tiny was our baby, she went with us everywhere and was our source of great love, joy and comfort. My husband rescued her from a puppy mill when she was six years old, she had sores all over her body and blind in her right eye. But my husband nursed her back to health and they became inseparable. Tiny was so gracious to let me into that loving relationship when I married my husband three years ago.

Peyton Ray Black

This is Payton Fay, our beloved Red Doberman, who was taken from us May 9, 2007. Payton would be 3 years old in December. She was our child and the best dog anyone could ask for. On February 3, 2007, Payton gave birth to 2 puppies, one boy and one girl. We did not even know she was pregnant or that she and our male Doberman Manning Ray were breeding. Payton was an amazing mother and she took care of those puppies so well. On May 9, 2007, Payton was hit by a car and had awful injuries. We had to make the hardest decision to either put her through all the brutal surgery’s or to put her down. We tried to save our little girl but she was in so much pain that we just couldn’t put her through that. She was not just a dog, she was a part of our family. She acted just like a child. She watched TV, she howled at her favorite song, and she loved to cuddle. She was so special and amazing that we feel God just wanted her with him and we are ok with that now. We are grateful for all the people who got her to the vet after she was hit and for the vets who tried to save here. Most of all, we are grateful for the time we did have with her even though it was too short. Thank you for reading our story and I think your website is so sweet.
